A lot of times the first question people ask when meeting me is: “can you sing?” Let me be clear, can I produce sound in tones? Yes. Is it something a person would enjoy hearing? Probably not. What I do well is teach and communicate the Bible. I love God’s word. Each year that I grow older, I am humbled to discover new depths and knowledge of God in this book. The intimacy and presence of my Creator in these pages is a comfort to me. God’s word is living and active and I desire to never grow weary of reading and discovering what God says about himself, and to his people.
